As we reflect back on our year, we are proud of our how team has served our community throughout 2024 with our time, gifts, and thoughtful contributions. We believe it is so important to recognize how fortunate we are and help others within our extended community.
With our primary focus on healthcare, we supported those who serve the front lines of healthcare each day and in honor of #National Nurses Day in May, our team made posters with words of inspiration and gratitude and served sweet treats to fuel the nursing teams at Suburban Hospital.
In June, we put on our running shoes and joined our long-term client Inova in their annual StarKid 5K to raise money for their LJ Murphy Inova Children’s Hospital. Employees and families joined to participate in a fun-run or a 5K, lifting spirits and getting in some early morning exercise.
Throughout the year, our team plays multiple rounds of golf with our clients to benefit their foundations, and while we have some great talent on the greens, we bring our best showing to the Jim Wilmot Memorial Golf Tournament each year. This charity golf tournament raises awareness and support for the Community Coalition for Haiti which supports access to healthcare, education, and job resources for families in Jacmel, Haiti.
In the Fall, our interior design team designed and built a bespoke pet bed with Patterns for Paws working with Homeward Trails Animal Rescue. These creations were auctioned to the highest bidder to help with animal rescue efforts.
Each year, our team partners with Manna Food Center to volunteer on multiple occasions to pack and sort non-perishable food items. The team loves to dive in to help provide healthy food options to those in need while also having fun with each other after a hard day’s work.
To mark the holiday season, Wilmot Sanz partnered with Bridge Commercial Real Estate to participate in the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. We shopped until we dropped to make the holidays a bit brighter for two special kids.
As a team, we are thrilled we are able to serve and give back to our community in many diverse ways and look forward to our continued philanthropy in the coming year.
