This new outpatient services building, that includes both a Cancer Center and Women’s Health Clinic, is a cornerstone of the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center’s expansion, offering state-of-the-art comprehensive patient support. The Cancer Center features two linear accelerator vaults, along with private patient suites equipped with exam rooms and family lounges for a comfortable and personalized experience. Patients also benefit from easy access to a range of essential services, including social work, nutrition counseling, and clinical care, all conveniently located within the center.
The women’s health clinic with two distinct wings offers both normal and high-risk pregnancy care and is designed to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for patients.
This expansion serves as part of a regional strategy to improve inpatient and outpatient healthcare for residents of Prince George’s County.
