Adventist HealthCare launched a new Support Center for training and continuing education of their nurses, clinicians and staff. The newly renovated space is split among two floors in their existing HQ building located in Gaithersburg, MD.
On the ground floor, a large, welcoming reception area leads to a learning gallery which provides touch down space with a community table and a variety of soft seating options. A small cafe is adjacent to reception for grab and go beverages available to employees throughout the training day. The center offers three distinct conference rooms that can be divided by movable partitions or joined into one large room with seating up to 150 for large group lectures. Past the conference area, there are simulation training labs, debrief rooms and administration offices. In addition, simulation spaces for hand-on training and administrative offices round out the ground floor training center.
On the fourth floor, a 22-chair executive boardroom suite offers a reception lobby and lounge. The lounge features an electric fireplace, soft seating and AV capabilities as well as a catering pantry. The boardroom offers expansive skyline views of Montgomery County, custom banquet seating for additional guests and state-of-the-art conferencing equipment.
