Adventist HealthCare leading the charge in supporting continuing education for staff and clinicians through a new, modern Support Center

Healthcare workers are always supporting patients, but who is supporting those workers? Well, their institutions for one. Adventist HealthCare has launched a new Support Center for training and continuing education of their nurses, clinicians and staff to ensure that each employee at Adventist HealthCare is administering the best quality care and adhering to the mission of their institution.

The new space is split among two floors in their existing HQ building located in Gaithersburg, MD. On the ground floor, a large, welcoming reception area leads to a learning gallery which provides touch down space with a community table and a variety of soft seating options. A small cafe is adjacent to reception for grab and go beverages available to employees throughout the training day.

The training support center offers three distinct conference rooms that can be divided by movable partitions or joined into one large room with seating up to 150 for large group lectures. Past the conference area, there are simulation training labs, debrief rooms and administration offices.

The mission of Adventist Healthcare shown on a seven paneled art piece depicts the creation of heaven and earth and is displayed above a seating alcove for respite and breaks between training sessions.

On the fourth floor, a 22-chair executive boardroom suite offers a reception lobby and lounge. The lounge features an electric fireplace, soft seating and AV capabilities as well as a catering pantry. The boardroom offers expansive skyline views of Montgomery County, custom banquet seating for additional guests and state-of-the-art conferencing equipment.

The Support Center provides a focused area for staff to receive training and support to supplement their skills in order to thrive in their careers and this calming, modern environment aids their journeys to success.
