Wilmot Sanz, recently unveiled its latest triumph: a cutting-edge GI Endoscopy, Apheresis, and Bronchoscopy Suite that sets new standards in patient care and operational excellence.
Working alongside stakeholders at Inova Health System and HITT Contracting, the team delivered a full floor fit out of the Professional Services Building to include two Bronchoscopy imaging suites and six Endoscopy suites with a fully equipped adjacent Scopes Processing clean room to streamline clinical workflows.
Bronchoscopy Suite
With a capacity for 27 patients concurrently, the unit allows for seven isolation bays and four pediatric bays. Equipped with state-of-the-art patient-controlled lighting and video capabilities, the pediatric bays provide a soothing and calming environment, helping to alleviate anxiety and promote relaxation before and after procedures. By integrating technology seamlessly into the space, Wilmot Sanz ensures that pediatric patients feel more at ease, fostering a positive experience for both patients and caregivers.
With a focus on infection control, the sterile scopes processing room, where meticulous attention to detail ensures the highest standards of safety and hygiene is designed to optimize efficiency while maintaining rigorous standards of sterility—a critical consideration in this environment.
Endoscopy Suite
