A uniquely designed assisted living facility

Sunrise / INOVA Assisted Living at Fair Oaks is a three-story assisted living facility located on the INOVA Fair Oaks Hospital campus in Fairfax County, Virginia. The facility, containing 92 residential studio and two- bedroom units for 112 residents, including 26 dementia units, has been jointly developed by INOVA Health System and Sunrise Assisted Living.

All residents are within a short walking distance of the public living, dining and entertainment areas. Each floor has its own spa and resident laundry. The facility also houses an arts and crafts room, beauty shop, bistro with jukebox, entertainment lounge, private dining room, exercise room with fitness equipment, and examination and treatment rooms for visiting physicians.

A unique component of the facility is its “short stay” wing. Developed for use by the hospital, it offers patients a “residential environment” alternative for recovery and theraputic care.
